I’m going to have to move this account to another instance because this one is being shut down.
If you have a suggestion about where I should take my interests in #tea and #Chinese to, I’d love to hear it. Please note: it can’t be mastodon.social, for I already have an account there where I pursue other interests.
I hate to waste #tea. I have ten-year-old CTC tea that I sometimes pull out and make milk chai with.
But bad #matcha is uniquely heinous. This stuff was irredeemable as soon as the package was opened, so into the compost it goes.
Note to self: don’t buy matcha unless you really really know the source.

This morning at the office, back from vacation for the first time, I settled on last year’s second flush Darjeeling, but there wasn’t enough to fill a gaiwan.
Still not in a routine mindset, I guess, I supplemented it from my caddy of random bits saved from many different sheng pu’er cakes. It was pretty good, actually, at least by the standards of a day spent working rather than focusing on my senses.
I should try this again, but with more attention.
So Intel’s next CPU is called Coffee Lake: http://www.pcworld.com/article/3214630/computers/intels-8th-gen-coffee-lake-core-cpus-will-be-revealed-during-the-great-american-eclipse.html
2 thoughts arise:
• That’s a lot of #coffee.
• #Tea Lake would run just as fast but wouldn’t need as much cooling.
