@dzwiedziu a bit of openness never hurt anyone. but lack of mental resource is a huge argument, i get that
@dzwiedziu why not accept? What's the worst case scenario here?
@constancies maybe the issue is not so much the AI, but the slop? Back when I started coding, using an IDE that would auto complete words/functions was considered cheating and while it was not called slop, it was not welcome in many projects. Today in 2026, most IDE dont only have auto complete, they have built in AI. I think taking a strong stance against generated code does not make much sense today
@Courgette @luppano home assistant a une liste synchronisée. Ca marche très bien. Même quand t'es offline dans le magasin, ca synchronise quand tu ressors du magasin
@poorpossum enjoy your donuts. If you're too proud to admit it's the machine making them, that's on you. Not on the machine
@poorpossum not at all. Art is a process. A process which often requires tools. Tools like a pen, a pencil, a brush, a camera, or an ai. And in all cases, a brain to think it through
@poorpossum here's another one: what if you are literally Picasso but you've never made a movie. Is using ai bad, too?
Wow I just made art accessible to Picasso
@poorpossum such hate. I'm bad at art. I have no shame in saying that. I can draw a car like my 5 years old daughter, that's all. Soon she'll be better than me. I might be bad at art in general, too, but I know for a fact that if I need to draw something else than a car, I'm better off letting chatgpt draw it for me. I'll even add a chatgpt logo, to make sure
That is art made accessible for me by AI, and without an inch of fame
@KZ4LN I recommend a piece of paper, a pen and tape. "You are being recorded".
But there are funnier options against punks, like a loudspeaker/alarm or a small screen showing their previous mischief (although that might encourage them to do it again)
