I went to the gym this morning.
Two people got on the treadmills either side of me. Started chatting on their phones. It's not illegal.
Neither is singing while you run.

They got off their phones.

🤯 A visual physics lesson at 80 km/h.

Enthusiasts launched a man from a moving truck in the opposite direction - at the same speed the car was traveling.

The experiment spectacularly showed how relative speed works.

A toot worthy of one of those Dull Women groups: I'm not a huge coffee fan, but I do quite like the French Vanillas from Tim Hortons. They are about £4 a pop.
I bought a tin of mix from there for £10.
I've had 15 drinks from it. That's 67p each.
I'm happy with that daily habit.
Thought I'd come back to wang on about things. It's been a heck of a few years.
Hmm, lots of grumpy people unhappy at the driverless bus trial in Milton Keynes.
Quite possibly the same people who were grumpy that the tram route never happened, which, funnily enough, would have been serving a very similar route, automatically led, with a member of staff on hand to take over if anything went awry.
Consistency in your grumpiness, please.
Good news! - It's October, which means it's socially acceptable for me to have this little ghoul in the background of my meetings.
What I should do when I finish work today is record a vocal track for a song in panto.
What I'm actually going to do is have a little sleep.
I've got a nasty head cold, so I've taken the day off.
Wait, you don't understand...
I am sick, so I'm having a day off so that I can rest.
I couldn't do that as a teacher.
The mentality there is 'if nothing's fallen off, carry on.' I'm relearning when to rest. This is new.
Being able to rest when I'm ill feels like a privilege. Silly, isn't it?
I used to be able to ask Google (Home) to play music for 10 minutes, and it would do just that - a pocket of music that would automatically stop after 10 minutes.
It was a really useful tool for managing my time.
But now it doesn't.
There is a growing number of functions it no longer completes or supports
Poor show, Google.
