Supposedly, SFPD can't ticket misbehaving robocars because there's no driver to sign the ticket. I have come to believe that this interpretation is in error. Standard procedure when a driver won't sign a ticket is to arrest them and impound the vehicle. Just because the driver, meaning the person responsible for the driving, is not present, shouldn't change this.

Apple Feedback / Radar will never not be nuts. Every time I file I feel like I’m being punished.

Filed a bug in iOS 16, with a link to a GitHub project that shows all the private APIs I had to override to fix it. Point out the bug is back in iOS 17. Am asked to file the same bug over again. Nah. My time ain’t free.

Tell me you don’t value developer’s time without telling me.

They gotta fix this. Hire someone who cares about developers and how to shape the program to encourage bug filing.

But wait, I thought killing off the API was supposed to get rid of all the bots…
