I found a case of maybe 200 slides from the 60's - 70's out on the sidewalk for garbage pickup the other day. Took them home and had a scan though them (how I know 60-s and early 80's). However, it makes me sad that all these memories are simply being discarded. All the careful work so many years ago. Not sure if it is also me secretly wondering what will be happening to all my own piles of slides and negs. Most of the garbage found slides I found, I binned. (Unless someone else wants them? (I can still fish them out unscathed) The few I deemed interesting I think I'll scan later.
