Tonight proved to be an interesting experience. Decided to go out on my own to underwear night at the local bar and made the conscious decision not to drink. I probably had one of the best times in a long time, and knowing that I was completely sober the entire time is a wonderful revelation.
Our Congress is being held hostage by a bunch of seditious traitors.

Hey Philly folks --- SEPTA is doing a pilot of a system supposedly uses "AI" to call the cops when the "AI" detects a gun.

This is terrifying. What kind of civil oversight do you all have going on out there?

This is a good time to point out that SF used to have many surface creeks that could handle a lot of water without flooding. But we've covered the entire city in impermeable placement and disrupted natural drainage

Islais Creek used to be on the surface all the way from Glen Park to the Bay, but they covered it to build Alemany Boulevard and put it in a culvert.

Hi all. I am flying back to San Francisco today. Any news of the airport is flooded. I know there are problems in my neighborhood (marina)

I am pausing the alt-text.org project. I am not able to maintain it alone, and costs are exceeding my ability to cover, even with the help I'm receiving.

The technology is there. The need is there. Right now, the resources are not. If someone is interested in taking over the project, please reach out.

Thank you, especially to those who have offered help along the way.

Friends Of Pine Ridge and First Families Now are providing supplies and heating to the affected families.

If you can afford it, you can donate here:

And for everyone who boosts this post, I'll add another dollar to my next donation. So, uh, go wild.

This year:
Nobody freezes.
Nobody starves.
Nobody goes it alone.
