mccThe problem isn't that QRTs are a tool for harassment; you can harass with replies. The problem is QRTs are a tool for harassment *force amplification*. If someone sends me a shitty reply, I can block them and that's the end of the interaction. If someone does a shitty QRT, all their friends can reply being shitty to me and however many of their followers (or followers' followers, once *they* start QRTing) I block there can be more, and it can go on for days or months.
