hi #SanFrancisco #BayArea, i need to make room so i’m selling my #ebike! it’s a rad power rad city 3 step through, in great condition with only ~550 miles on it, and the brakes were recently trued (i can replace the pads for you for a few extra $). it comes with a kickstand and a small back basket (fits almost all backpacks). it’s still under warranty and the battery is in great condition as i’ve been careful about overcharging. i’m asking ~$1200 OBO (willing to negotiate). please boost! #xp
@graham_freeman I saw some of those lights “in the wild” a few weeks ago. They look pretty good and seemed effective!
@foxyjewishmama yes to this! Easy enough for me to do because I forget I’m wearing mine.
Seen from the bicycle, it sometimes strikes you as odd that people take 1,500 kilos of steel and plastic with them to the city, relying on 20,000 Watts worth of little fossil fuel explosions to move the whole thing ahead. And then have to look for a place to park it.

@chloepascual I was taking a quick coffee break and happened to be headed in the same direction as the rest of the riders afterward, so I joined for a couple of blocks. It looked fun and fancy.
Just sent out my first wholesale order or bike lights to The Ride Cafe in Melrose, MA. They are building out a cafe space with bike maintenance / repair as well as stroller/car seat rentals and bike accessories and gifts.
I’m still so proud of this kid for doing this unplanned ride up a big hill after school. In her adult-sized t-shirt and all-stars with giant ribbons on the heel, with a friend on the back of a cargo bike to chat with along the way. 11 miles and 1200 feet of climbing and a ridiculous $18 for 2 cups of frozen yogurt to celebrate. Kids are awesome, kids can be strong, and kids + bikes make things even better. #BikeTooter
@DrTCombs yes, when the baseline rate is 40,000 of these incidents happening per year, it’s exactly as you state: not a freak accident but a predictable result. 😞
@bryanculbertson Those lanes are nice!
