I don't like patriotism; I think it's arbitrary to be proud of a country, and I think it's a pretty slippery funnel into nationalism. Flag-waving feels fascist to me.
But it turns out that politicians who preach real multiculturalism and inclusive care for the vulnerable do, in fact, make me feel patriotic. So maybe it's that I've rarely found anything to feel proud of.

It reminded me of the Wheel by @argyleink, inspired by the arcade game Black Emperor. The game feel is so strong that I find myself scrolling up and down again and again just to play with it and experience that delightful bounce effect.
I’m really determined to change that, which is why I just bought Scott Riley’s course, Mindful Design. @piccalilli is running a Black Friday sale on all their courses, including Mindful Design, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
