@b0rk if you want/need to port forward into your home network for remote access you simply can’t (although arguably there are usually better alternatives for remote access than exposing your home network by direct port forwarding these days). In Spain you usually can call the ISP’s customer service and ask to be out of CGNAT. Some do that right away and some make you pay a little extra each month to have a non-shared IPv4.

@twit_terrorist Si ja tens una base, el que realment necessites no és “aprendre” més anglés sinó preparar l’examen. Per aprovar l’examen, el millor és mirar-te models d’examen i practicar els apartats concrets. Hi ha alguns models de speaking a youtube també. Acostuma a ser tot estructurat de la mateixa manera. Hi ha models i examens antics fàcils de trobar per internet. També et recomane que faces l’examen en modalitat ordinador, no en paper. Si no ha canviat des del 2017 que vaig fer el meu, tens el mateix temps, però jo almenys teclege MOLT més ràpid que no pas escric a mà, i especialment per la redacció, esborrar/reorganitzar paràgrafs i idees és infinitament més fàcil a ordinador que a mà.

@david_chisnall @regehr @pinskia I was going to point that out. Being vegan, if you are lucky they’ll have some oat milk with the coffee and can get a bit of the sad salad from the catering. Also, I only started to attend/present at academic conferences after years of speaking at “industry” conferences where in most cases you get registration, travel and accommodation included at least; the first time I was told I had to pay registration for an academic conference even though I was presenting at the event got me in shock for a long time. Food is usually the same problem at industry events (getting better), but if you are speaking and have costs covered, at least you are not paying for not being able to eat.
