Btw, the two on the right are the assigned pooling yarns i got from chicago yarn con earlier this month.
I realize that I have not posted this very handsome man here before. This is Mr. Jones. He is 5 years old gentleman with 2 big cheeks and I love him so much 😻😻 #CatsOfMastodon

Recently finished #handknit object! Lacey garment to wear right before spring!!

Went out on a nice urban sketching meet up with #uskchicago last weekend at the Auditorium Theater. It was freezing outside but definitely worth it! The place was amazing. The guide/staffs were super nice. Sketchers were friendly. Fun experience :)

It has been a great second year into this hobby and wonderful community. Thank you and see you next year. Happy New Year!

Finally get to swatch my #fountainpen inks. Happy to announce KWZ’s Sheen Machine to be the ā€œcurrentā€ favorite, with Diamine’s Garland and Visconti’s Green both be close second. I am obviously in my sheen-ing era despite having a few shimmering inks lol

One chunky project on the needle is down! I’m loving it! It is going to get worn so much this fall!

#knitting pattern: Open Side Vest by Amuhibi, a japanese pattern designer. A simple bulky open vest with cute little tie on the sides.

Update on the #knitting gloves:
It took a while to understand the gloves anatomy (thumb gusset, casting on to bridge the gap, etc.) and took a lot of trying and reknitting to fit the receiver’s hands. It is an intimidating project but I am very surprised how fast this knits up. Might make one for myself later
Went on a nature walk yesterday having fun trying to identifying wild flowers. There were quite a few despite the chilly midwest fall weather. I finally got to use my field guide book while my bf happily used his apps. We made quite a good team lol
After almost breaking off my second cord from #knitpicks interchangeable LACE needle, i have had enough. I left a review on the site (amongst many more knitters with same issue). Then, I went to a nearby yarn store to get these. Feel amazing not to worry of the cord snapping or snagging the yarn again! #knitting
