During yesterday's road trip I ended up doing some #Pictish stone captures en route including the seriously odd Class II cross slab at Migvie. The cross and three symbols are now clear as is the possibly reworked horseman on the back.#StandingStoneSunday #earlymediaeval
The shadow of the Tor in the mist with the moon setting as the sun rose behind me. Taken from Glastonbury Tor.

I know I promised no more but, I was just coming back home. Look at that cloud!

This is a #3d #laserscan of a knight from Rosslyn Chapel
near #Edinburgh. The scan is from 2001 and was done with our first Polhemus3D scanner.

We also scanned some masons marks and other bits and pieces whilst there. #mediaeval #archaeology

Exploring an astronomical day in the life of #Callanish 1 through Stellarium and our 2005 #3d #laserscan dataset. We're aiming to release this next week! #megalith #archaeology #archaeoastronomy @megportal

This morning I went cup mark searching with Penwith Landscape Partnership here in the far west of Cornwall (UK). We found two fantastic cup marks in just 3 hours around the Bosigran and Rosemergy areas, one of which I was fortunate enough to spot. It’s a remarkable landscape, and I’m hoping that we’ll make it better known in the field of Atlantic rock art studies. #rockart #Cornwall #archaeology
Something a bit different. This is a lovely ceramics piece that we #3d #laserscanned in 2002 for the
Potteries Museum. Of the seven pieces we scanned on that day, this was by far the easiest (being relatively unglazed and matt white)! #ceramics
