@atpfm regarding the shiny logos, is John maybe thinking of the glowing logos that were punched/machined out and had some other material inset? I don't know how authoritative this source is, but it seems like the shiny ones today are just etched and polished.

I hate the trend of apps wanting to suggest words inline while you are typing. Microsoft in particular seems to be a big fan of this. My brain really can't process that, trying to type out the word I am thinking of while you are giving me other words to read.
