I want to learn #graphics #programming with #metal. I just can't bring myself to learn seriously with #OpenGL because 1. I use a MacBook and 2. It's deprecated. #vulkan does not seem like the best way to learn basic graphics programming, Metal seems far more reasonable. Anyone have any good resources for learning graphics with Metal?
God help me, I am feeling the urge to write pure C again
If you're an indie game developer please let me know, I'd love to give you a follow! I am a solo dev (and software engineer for my day job) working on a 3D adventure in Godot and I'd love to meet more likeminded people!

I miss the internet

I know this is going to make me sound old – but I miss the internet.

The real internet. The one we used to have. Before it all got so much less – and somehow so much more – complicated.

I went online for the first time around 2001. The 90s had ended, and the world was coming online while I was coming out of my shell and becoming more self-aware.

Wanted to give a huge shout-out and thanks to @selinadev for her awesome Godot roguelike tutorials. I have been scouring the internet for any roguelike resources for Godot 4 and Selina's are the best, without a doubt! When I started my project, I was feeling so overwhelmed with no good idea on where to start, but these tutorials helped me get my bearings!

You can find them at https://github.com/SelinaDev/Godot-Roguelike-Tutorial.
