@randahl tbh, I really like mastodon but it not diverse enough. All posts trending here are far left. Especially political/pro-communism stuff. I consider myself to be on the left side but when I hear that communism is good and capitalism is bad I just want to delete my account and never confess I had an account here…
The lack of diversity of opinion and the fact that no one calls out communist bullshit really pushes people away. It wasn’t like that when I joined 2 years ago.
@rbreich actually if they did stock buy buck they rised the price of their stock- so if the employee had the stock they benefited from that. Also usually stock buy backs are good because lower the chance of hostile takeover (which usually is very bad for employees) and additionally allow the company to run Employee Stock Purchases Plans which give employees a way to buy the stock cheaper than the martket price. In my honest opinion that is not the worst way to spend money…
@newsmast Do we agree to share such shit here? Just look on the list of accounts that „shared” this post… All are bots. The app also collects data that are not relevant (location?!?!) and uses identifiers to track you.
@mysk How do they know I left the EU? IP or location services? Maybe there is an option to use VPN or turn off one location service in privacy settings

@olamesa @Savvyhomestead I agree - as polish citizen - capitalism is far better than socialism. If you ever meet a person who lived in socialism and capitalism they will never tell you that socialism was better.
