@JStatePost I think it is, although, a reminder that "Likes" on the other site were actually Favourites before, and used a yellow star symbol. I never really 'liked' that change, since it was too Facebook-esque, so, in reality, we're at an earlier, more friendly time (in my opinion), here, as a result.

Hi everyone, I'm a lawyer with a keen interest in independent journalism and social justice, issues which I consider are more important now than ever. I've just joined #newsie from that "other place" and, whilst may take me some time for me to get to grips with all this, I'll start by saying it is refreshing to join an independent social media platform which I hope is and will continue to create interesting discourse with integrity.
