đŸ„„ Please tell me if #Mastodon's little yellow star symbol for "Favorite" is NOT like the heart symbol on other social media. I've been liberally using the star to indicate that I "like" a toot, and noticing that very few others are doing the same.
Are #pachyderm people just less effusive in their praise of things they like, or am I that big of an outlier? đŸ„„

@JStatePost I think it is, although, a reminder that "Likes" on the other site were actually Favourites before, and used a yellow star symbol. I never really 'liked' that change, since it was too Facebook-esque, so, in reality, we're at an earlier, more friendly time (in my opinion), here, as a result.
