Solar farms arent harming the countryside, you just don’t like the way they look.

Example 103: insect populations boom from shade and wildflower habitat.

Insect populations flourish in the restored habitats of solar energy facilities

Bumblebees buzz from flower to flower, stopping for a moment under a clear blue Minnesota sky. Birds chirp, and tall grasses blow in the breeze. This isn't a scene from a pristine nature preserve or national park. It is nestled between photovoltaic (PV) solar arrays on rehabilitated farmland.

In 1856, scientist Eunice Foote attempted to publicize her research showing the link between carbon dioxide emissions and global warming in one of the earliest documentations of the deleterious effect of burning fossil fuels. …her research was selectively copied by men, misinterpreted, and ignored for a century and a half. The excuse men used…to dismiss her work was that she lacked institutional affiliation, which she lacked because of her gender.

yeahhh the good ol' days....

In 1945, the US War Department realized that its soldiers stationed in Europe fighting the Nazis probably needed a good pamphlet explaining what fascism was, and how it occurs ...

... so they wrote one

and in it, they noted that America was not at all immune to this

So they explained how fascism would come to the US

Heather Cox Richardson writes about it in the latest edition of her newsletter: https://heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/p/october-26-2024

Beginning in 1943, the War Department published a series of pamphlets for U.S.
