It's easy to say Never Again.

It's easy to imagine you'd stand up and fight if the Nazis returned.

But when eugenics started, when landlords' fucking profits became more important than the lives of our friends and family members most people couldn't be bothered to do the bare minimum to protect each other.

This is how fascism returns.
By normalising that some lives are disposable.
By numbing us to the pain of others.
By making those of us who still care to be freaks and outcasts.

It's Disability Pride Month, and we're two homeless disabled autistic trans people with chronic pain and cPTSD with two cats that need help staying inside and surviving (food, meds, etc).

Our van is currently in the shop and is going to take longer than anticipated. We have help with the cost of it, but we need help covering the motel room for more nights until we can get it back. We also need help covering food and other necessities as well.

We have a long term plan for once the van is fixed and are able to leave motel, but we need help until then.

Y'all please CW things related to Meta (company), Threads, etc. with "Facebook" and not the words that have plenty of other meanings.

Fuck corporations naming their shitty products with common words so that discussion about them can't be meaningfully filtered out.

Just say "Facebook", then people can easily and specifically filter it out.

Like, if you mute the word "meta" now you also won't see actually relevant fedi meta discussion.
If you mute "threads" that's even more broad.
If you only have to mute "Facebook", that's not a word that means anything else other than the evil corporation.

There is a Google doc that lists gynaecologists who will perform tubal ligation (tie tubes) without asking if you have kids/your partners permission/are married etc. as long as you're old enough to consent to surgery.

It's sorted by alphabetical order by state.

If your city isn't listed, keep checking because it's constantly being updated.

So far there are entries for USA, Canada, and Australia. Europe will hopefully soon be added.

"Parental rights" is right-wing code for dismantling public education, privatization of schools, & indoctrinating children with religious dogma. This has been slightly rebranded by the UCP as "Parent's Choice" then later "Choice in Education". It is the same movement.
