My intention was to invoke that eluding and tingling feeling of wanting to know more, but getting something completely different, but kind of related.
If you had that, even for a moment, then I consider this whole “art installation” a great success.
As you have already figured out, the comic doesn’t exist. I drew everything myself and pretended that it is from a real book. But why?
I was fascinated by “Vermis I” when I first heard about it. It is a manual to a game that doesn’t exist. I was fascinated by item descriptions in Dark Souls, giving you hints about the bigger picture. I just love scattered and incomplete plot that leaves many details open to interpretation. And wanted to do something like that myself.
