@emilylowan It's crazy that we live in a province with so much relatively clean hydro power and yet we still use LNG for heating. We should also be careful of supporting hydrogen, the only reason the government is open to it is because LNG groups are lobbying for it, so they can control the distribution of it to your house, just like LNG. Electricity is the only way forward, through hydro, solar and wind.

@FluentInFinance This is the classic open with a truth and then throw in an untruth. Yes lowering your credit will lower your score but that's because your credit score reflects how you handle _having_ credit. But you absolutely don't need to be in debt to increase your credit score.

The problem we face is more similar to the paradox of tolerance, on one side are tolerant people and on the other are intolerant people. is this polarization?, I feel if it was both sides would be intolerant of each other which is not the case. One side is intolerant and the other side is dealing with the paradox of tolerance (i.e. should you tolerate intolerant people?).

@timbray I would argue the only purpose of btc is for scamming, ransomware, and other illegal activities. The kicker is this utility exerts no pressure on the price, because all of them are piced in $'s, not bitcoin. The other kicker is that banning btc would be an objectively good thing for the world, for instance it would pretty much instantly get rid of ransomware.
