I have 3 hours to kill at London Bridge later and there’s so much I could do with my time.

But, I know that I’ll go for a brief wander which ends up near Tower Bridge, which then gives me a reason to go into Five Guys just for some fries, which means I’ll end up with a burger and shake too before scoffing it all like the fat pig that I am 😮

My wife found out about the Isle of Scilly today, which apparently is dubbed “the Seychelles of the UK”.

It piqued our interest so we started looking at how we could get there and what we could do there.

After looking at the prices for flights and ferry trips there, we have concluded that we won’t be visiting the UK Seychelles.

Sunburnt Feet

We returned home from camping yesterday and the day before, I’d fallen asleep in a chair which was in the shade. Unfortunately, as I slept, the shade disappeared and my feet were left out in the burning sun.

Plenty of moisturiser and paracetamol helps, but going back to work today and having to wear shoes for a whole 8 hours really wasn’t very comfortable 😮

I managed to keep the campfire burning for over 2 hours with just a bunch of dry wood I found in the bushes. It’s definitely keeping the chill off.

On a side note, there’s a stray cat here which is absolutely insistent upon trying to get into our tent to sleep 😮

My brother-in-law swore blind that he’d brought more beers camping than he’d drunk. He, my sister and their kids have packed up and gone home today leaving me and my wife here (in peace!) and I just found his beers in our camping fridge.

It’d be a shame to not drink them 🤫

I’ve got a T114 with #MeshCore up a tree so that we can message each other in the area at our campsite, where mobile phone signal isn’t great.
