JeremyFinally figured out why I could not get #Meshcore to work on a Lily T3S3 - flash it once, shout at it a lot, flash it again after a coffee and then it works fine. I should have realised...
musing_sys🇨🇦Apparently I received a message in the public channel on my MeshCore node, from someone flying over apparently. There’s no other MeshCore repeaters or nodes in my town, so I’m just talking to myself the rest of the time.

the Stripey GoodnessSome #meshcore success today with the companion node up on the pole I bought for ham radio wire antennae (~7 meters)
I've tried the exact same #LoRa properties in both #meshtastic and #meshcore (BW=250, SF=11, CR=5). In my ping tests, the maximum range with Meshtastic is at least 15% longer than MeshCore. I wonder what's causing this difference.
Edit: something got loose the day I flashed the firmware. I redid all connections and now it's working exactly like Meshtastic.
