Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas!
(I know it's not very happy and it's not very merry, nor is it peaceful, even though I'd wish for all of that. May the Light prevail, and Evil perish.)

On December 18th, Ukrainian defenders inflicted heavy blows on troop and equipment concentrations of the Russian fascist invaders near Polohy, Vasylivka and Kam'yanka-Dniprovs'ka in temporarily-occupied Zaporizhzhya region.
More than 130 rashist militants were wounded and up to 10 units of military equipment were destroyed. The number of dead Russians is being ascertained.

Heedless of their own casualties, the Russian fascist invaders throw "meat waves" at the defences of Bakhmut.
In recent days the Armed Forces of Ukraine reversed most of the small gains the rashists had made around Yakovlivka, the east part of Bakhmut, Optyne and Kurdyumivka.
Ukrainians call mobilized Russian soldiers "mobiks" or "chmobiks" or "meat." In English, we say "cannon fodder."
Russian infantry are sent at Ukrainian positions repeatedly in poorly-supported assaults: "meat waves."
