On November 2nd pipeline fighter Jerome locked down to a Mountain Valley Pipeline drill at the Elk River crossing in Webster County, WV. This month Jerome began serving a two month jail sentence.
This egregious sentence for a single misdemeanor charge is yet another form of repression thrown at the movement to StopMVP! Jerome's action stopped drilling for three hours, which has a significant impact in the defense of ecosystems and communities threatened by this pipeline. Through direct action, legal battles, and community action- the MVP is 6 years behind schedule and $3.7 billion over budget!
