Alright #PDXSocial, we've been talking for a while about organizing some sort of social gathering for people on here that want to meet in-the-flesh as they say.
Non commital, just looking for a rough show of hands what this might look like for scale, so we don't look for venues that are way too small or large. @agnes

There is currently an Object Storage authentication problem that is causing instances to slowdown or to become unresponsive.

Does anyone in the #PDX area have the appetite to pool some resources and make a move to self hosting? Some folks in Denmark have started https://data.coop/, and I’d like to follow that example.
Especially in these times, getting my data out of Google Drive, iCloud, etc. onto hardware *we* own and control feels enticing. But doing it alone isn’t economically viable.
