Worked towards this for a long time - finally merged :) You should see a good range of stability improvements and bugfixes come to ModalBottomSheetLayout in two releases time!

Dynamic content for ModalBottomSheetLayout should work reliably now (that also means good news for Accompanist). You will also be able to have empty sheet content (this will land in a separate change though)! And a bunch more stuff🎉
