So far all either currently support dual-stack or are rolling it out. All provide public IPv4 addresses and routed /60 IPv6. All have fairly cheap options for static addresses.
None of the above can be had with either A1 nor Magenta for private customers and their IPv4 NAT is a joke.
I didn't think evaluating providers could be this hard because all are great so far, instead of having to choose the lesser evil.
An Austrian fiber optics (FTTH) company is building an open access network with multiple smaller providers to select from.
I contacted the email address of eight of them on Saturday asking about the IPv4 address customers are receiving and the state of IPv6 support.
Today at 9 in the morning I received the first two phone calls and one email.
After dealing with abysmal customer support by the biggest providers in Austria for 25 years I'm still in shock.
Then, after you source, you have people who will intentionally choose not to believe anything that does not fit their narrative, skin color or agenda. People who will immediately move the goal posts. People who ask YOU to verify, but will blindly believe a right leaning SNOPES in 2025. Weirdos who constantly question woman but can’t keep that energy with males sharing the same information.
You’re not asking for verification. You’re being a narcissistic contrarian. Learn the difference.
I understand wanting to verify the information you’re reading is true.
What the Fediverse is notorious for doing, however, is harboring contrarian bad faith actors, who then violently demand free labor (especially from women) to source a subject that has been common knowledge and is easily verifiable using your own brain.
But because you literally mute and block out pretty much anything sociopolitically relevant, you demand verification on something that is common knowledge. +
I'm a certified network technician, of course I can build a simple CAT5e setup.
Also me: not even wondering, for three hours, why two switches getting the same IP address might be the reason for "inexplicable" problems.

👉 Telegram uses a single company with ties to the Russian FSB as their sole infrastructure provider, globally.
👉 Combined with a cleartext device identifier Telegram's protocol requires to be prepended to all encrypted messages, this allows for global surveillance of Telegram users.

Die ORF-Rechtsabteilung hatte beanstandet, dass Logos den ORF-Ringen nachempfundene Symbole enthielten. Habe ich unverzüglich behoben und bin in Klärung.
Grund für die Sperrung sehe ich daher überhaupt keinen, der restliche Dienst ist ja komplett im Einklang mit den Nutzungsbedingen der RSS-Feeds.
Wie kann ich bei Mastodon.social durchdringen um die Sperre aufheben zu lassen?
