For those who don't live in the US and are wondering why we're having a stupid time with passing a budget resolution, you have to remember this is a planned crisis.

We have what's known as "Budget Reconciliation", which means the Senate can pass a bill once per year without fear of filibuster. Republicans burned that already on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

They could have solved whatever budget nonsense then, but they decided to force the crisis on us for political BS.

I will not cry today even though a man I disagree with has died. He was murdered, yes; I do not condone his killer's actions.

I would support the killer being brought to justice.

I would support means of stricter gun control, which would prevent further death.

Though don't have tears for this man, for in life he supported the most vile of people. I still want society to be better for the rest of us who do not speak evil.

On this day, may the dead rot well and quickly.

This is probably a non-controversial opinion at this point, but fuck the "moral" "christians" who are attacking adult games. Why is it their problem with adults casually enjoying games with sexual themes?

The bible literally says "judge not, lest ye be judged." Let adults have their fun and mind your own business.

Kilmar Garcia, a man renditioned to el salvidor, needs to be returned to the US. His due process rights were violated and he needs his day in court.

These are embedded and fundamental to US. These things are more than just firmly rooted law, this is who we are as a culture.

Those who advocate otherwise are the real terrorists and traitors to my country.
