Briefly, following threats from nazis, 'Glitter Nova' was cancelled (rescheduled to take place at a later date) but a crowd of maybe 100 or so people rocked up to the Victorian Pride Centre in solidarity anyways.
Thank you to all who came out today (around 200) to say in no uncertain terms that fascists will never have a place in Naarm/Melbourne that queer communities look after our own, and that we will not be threatened.
About five of the “proud boys” turned up, were shouted down, and ended up being arrested.
