Thank you to all who came out today (around 200) to say in no uncertain terms that fascists will never have a place in Naarm/Melbourne that queer communities look after our own, and that we will not be threatened.

About five of the “proud boys” turned up, were shouted down, and ended up being arrested.

An end-of-year pride celebration for LGBTQIA+ youth in St Kilda has been suddenly postponed after the council became aware of a protest threat.
