Can't believe I only posted this in a pinned post without saying more about it here yet.
It's one of the coolest things I did with pixelart so far.
Despite looking 3D, it's actually a flat image with a normal-map layer added, which tells the game engine how to lit/shadow the sprite.
The normal map had to be hand-made, yes I know there are tools for that but they won't capture the true shape of the object, not at this scale and not an object this complex.

Whenever I see people in the US refer to "Rio Grande" I am a bit confused, because there are several places with that name in Brazil, including states of Rio Grande do Sul and Rio Grande do Norte. Turns out "Big River" is a pretty common name for big rivers.

My dad just blasting into my room yesterday "are you watching the news? How you can you not be watching the news? Go watch the news" (couldn't just _tell_ me the news, I had to go and watch/read it live).

I really wanted to ask him what was the hurry. Was he going to organize a counter-protest? Could he give orders to cops 600km away? Or was he just going to spend the Sunday watching it happen on TV/youtube, but with extreme urgency.

Look, this is a thing we should definitely know about. But don't fetishize the act of watching the news. It takes energy, but it does not in fact do anything by itself.
