I have released an update to Deep Sleep, introducing difficulty modes!
You can keep playing like you did, you can switch the game to be less combat-oriented, or... make it more difficult, if you wish!
Check it out!

Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken - Difficulty Modes Update - Steam News

Difficulty ModesThe biggest change of this patch is addition of difficulty modes. No matter if you're a new player, or have an existing save file, you will be asked to make a selection. The choices are: Story Mode Combat is simplified, so you can enjoy the point and click experience. Tactical Mode In addition to puzzles and exploration, you also like tactical challenges. This is the default mode. Custom Mode Adjust all settings individually.

Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken releases August 21st!

Helps to have a map!

-You will have to find the map item in every level that has a map
-Not all levels will have/need a map
-Even when you find the item, the map will only show the rooms you've visited, so you still have to explore everywhere by yourself.
-Marks enemies, NPCs, puzzles and if there are still any items

New feature drop!
Based on the feedback from the demo - I know there's gonna be that moment when someone skips a dialogue by accident.
That's what Dialogue Log is for!
It won't store dialogues all the way back to the start but will hold 10-12 pages worth of text until you reload the game.
although this picture is slightly outdated already, since I have a cool new keyboard

In Deep Sleep you'll have some abilities that can be improved. Here is the skill upgrade menu.
I decided to hide the locked elements by default if someone wants to go in blind, but you can view them at any point if you'd rather plan ahead.

I'm happy to see so many people leave Twitter behind in recent days, or at least make an attempt to try something different.
I wish that something different was Mastodon, however for now it seems to be bsky for the most part.
I'll probably be more active there, although definitely not leaving this place.
I'll be crossposting as much as I can, I've heard there are ways to automate it that I need to check.
