FreeTigray, Stop #TigrayGenocide

@WainnieT @Tek @zekuzelalem

As our primary school teachers repeated ad infinitum about essays and other written assignments that we sign in our own names, "Write and summarise in your own words! Use quotation marks if you need to quote. Think!"

But some people get through primary and high school, undergrad studies, and still haven't got the idea by the time they write a #PhD.

European officials and the @EU_Commission knew what's happening in #Tigray is genocide since early 2021.
The @statedept knows what's happening in Tigray is genocide since the beginning. Same with the #UN and its agencies. None did anything to stop it.

"Never again" = yet again.

The elephant in the room is missing: what happened to "attempts to terminate the *ongoing* genocides" in the aims of the IntGenoComDay?

The #UyghurGenocide, the #ChineseOrganHarvesting (might be "only" a #CrimeAgainstHumanity), and the #TigrayGenocide [1] are mostly "below the media radar".

And it's not just a problem of who you vote for, it's also who you give a Nobel Peace Prize to (Abiy Ahmed).

I wonder what would have been the worldwide media reaction if Bogdan-Martin [1] had written [2]:

"Always great to be back at @UN @intgovforum #IGF2022 here in #Moscow in November 2022 ... #LeaveNoOneBehind"

Trying to get some genuine contact with journalists, like @bernicecbc , who recently tooted about #genocide, might help to get this hiding-genocide-by-omission event about the #TigrayGenocide into the media....

In this article, I write about on how the organisers of the Internet Governance Forum #IGF22 being held in Ethiopia have used the event to whitewash the Abiy regime's brutal communication shutdown in Tigray. He writes that the organisers and UN officials have ignored Tigrayan voices.

The Internet Governance Forum: a spectacle of the United Nations’ complicity in the Tigray Genocide

The United Nations’ Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is convening its 17th annual conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, this week. Among the conference’s broader themes one is:“connecting all people and safeguarding human rights” and “Avoiding Internet Fragmentation”.   It is ironic that a UN body  whose supposed objective is to promote wider and better access to internet […]

I also argue that they failed to uphold the fundamental principle of the forum -- advocate the use of the internet to all people -- by not just holding the event in a country that's laid communication blackout on its people (Tigrayans) but also refusing to acknowledge the blockade.

Here are participants of #IGF2022 celebrating their evening in a country that has sealed off 7 million people into silently dying of horrendous crimes and crimes against humanity. #Tigray is bleeding the rest of the world partying with criminal.
To the World do #Tigrayans lives matter??💔
