What has my reaction been to acts and expressions based on antisemitism & other ideologies hatred?

What can I do, to make our world a better & safer place."

@auschwitzmuseum Too often people think “Never again” means “it could never happen again” and “nothing can ever be so bad as to warrant comparisons to Hitler and the Holocaust.” To the contrary, it means “we must alway be vigilant never to let it happen again, and this means we must identify and call out fascism wherever it rears its head.”

This thread so far makes me think of the People's Front of Judaea in the #LifeOfBrian speaking endlessly of good intentions while doing nothing to save Brian.

Especially in the context of "Mastodon is about personal interactions+real engagement", how about some direct interactions of other Mastodonians with @WainnieT and @Tek about the #TigrayGenocide?

There could be Uyghurs or families of Chinese-organ-harvested people here too, who might appreciate some contact.

European officials and the @EU_Commission knew what's happening in #Tigray is genocide since early 2021.
The @statedept knows what's happening in Tigray is genocide since the beginning. Same with the #UN and its agencies. None did anything to stop it.

"Never again" = yet again.
