The Most Important Election in Dutch History

This graphic illustrates a major problem I have making videos:

The last street is still absolute garbage. There isn't even public transit.

The US (â…“ of my audience) is so far behind in city design that this is all they can reasonably hope for.

Meanwhile the rest of my audience is starting from the last street and trying to build something better.

It's like if I had a maths channel and wanted to talk about calculus, but â…“ of my audience was still debating if multiplication actually works.

I always learn something new with a @notjustbikes video, but this one shot probably surprised me the most.
While in all of North America the car portion of a ROW will be straight (thus encouraging speeding) Bergen added this slight bend to wake up drivers and slow them down

Absolutely brilliant

It is just a humble suggestion, but I think that His Majesty should now visit Canada, to remind everyone, orange-hued or not, that he is still Head of State there.

At the dawn of man, caves were our home. As time progressed, we left the cave, and ventured out into the world. But in the suburbs, caves have returned.

This is from 1927... and nearly 100 years later, we are still trying to explain to people why #transit is so much more efficient than #cars! 🤦‍♂️

LA Times owner seems to be in league with Trump, vetoing a Harris endorsement and then letting the campaign use standard-issue lies to smear the paper for something it didn't do.

The editorial page editor quit in protest and she deserves our respect.

She has more courage than the vast majority of our political press corps, which still normalizes Trump and will be culpable if he -- and then Vance -- become America's fascist rulers.

Los Angeles Times editorials editor resigns after owner blocks presidential endorsement

Mariel Garza, the editorials editor of the Los Angeles Times, resigned on Wednesday, after the newspaper’s owner had blocked the editorial board’s plans to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for president. “I am resigning because I want to make it clear that I am not okay with us being silent,” Garza told me in a […]
