@rbreich If you probably looked deep into the minds & hearts of some #Republicans, then you'd find too many are misogynistic, racist & homophobic. They'd secretly happily, not just take away abortion rights but women's voting rights; bring back to slavery and make homosexuality a capital crime. And boldly claim they're still God fearing semaritans in order to sleep peacefully at night

Many thanks for your reply & thoughts on this issue 😊
Although humans have their flaws, I'm a bit uncomfortable about not being able to tell whether I'm conversing with a real person or my information sources are original.
Even though many wish to believe/hear what they want, this aids ppl. (e.g. political leaders, the media) who wish to manipulate others who are confused/ unsure bc they can no longer tell the diff. between the truth & lies. Not to mention the non/ethical aspect of AI

If you are already an accomplished writer, you have already achieved much more than many aspiring writers, who have tons of creative & possibly fantastic ideas, but which never become realised.
I'm not a writer, but writer's block is probably awful & very frustrating. Sleep would probably help some 😈. Hope, it doesn't take too long for you to get your 'flow' back.

For my two pennies worth - As Amo was given as a gift at 4 years old, he would probably have little memory or attachment to his country of birth. Therefore, whether he left due to the death of his benefactor or growing racism, he most likely wasn't content & didn't wish to remain in Germany.
However, he was given the opportunity to gain a noteworthy education, like many African- Americans who later went to Germany/ France bc they were denied education in the US
