Why I built Virtual Cycling Trainer
Last year I bought my first bicycle and planned to get an indoor trainer for winter. When I did, I tried several apps—but they were expensive, overcomplicated, or felt like 3D games. I just wanted something simple.
I discovered FTMS, the standard most trainers use. Since I already had the foundation from Virtual Treadmill, I added FTMS bike support—and it came together quickly.
That’s how Virtual Cycling Trainer was created.
