My main hobby is TTRPGs, and I'm always down to be a nerd about that.
My love language is long neurodivergent monologues about my interests.
I will accept any pronouns (though I present male IRL, that's just laziness from it being my AGAB and me not caring enough to rock the boat)
If you decide to follow me, expect a lot of my random thoughts on random nonsense, a bunch of stuff shared from elsewhere, and occasionally a drawing or something that I made or commissioned.
Apparently making an #introduction post is part of fediverse etiquette? And I just never did it because I didn't know. So a semester late, here goes:

I popped over to #LinkedIn. Frightening. Tanned, toothy bio pics. Long threads of people talking about 'unleashing potential', 'mindsets of power', 'vitality coaching', 'workplace superpowers', 'freeing your energyforce in only 4mins per day,' and one trite cliché after another, 'no i in team,' etc. Seriously, it's like a cult meeting.
Edit: I just noticed that one person lists their current job as 'Chief Inspirer and Ambition-Fulfiller'.
I think I just did a little sick in my mouth.

.... Having written it out, I just realised how most of them are fundamentally flawed games, that just happen to capture a certain ~vibe~ so well, I can't not love them.
... Except Pyre, Pyre is just perfect.
The sign says "Please wait until the green light to go through", because if you try to force it before it actually unlocks, it won't unlock.
That was a few months ago.
Fast forward to today.
They put a second sign up. It covers half of the monitor and says in allcaps:
"THE COMPUTER DOESN'T LET YOU THROUGH. THE TURNSTILL DOES. PLEASE WAIT FOR GREEN LIGHT 🙂"
You can just. FEEL. The retail worker politeness-masking-rage behind that smile emoji and I love it.
I really enjoy Exasperated Signage. The gym I attend has a turnstill for entry. Normal stuff.
The turnstill is connected to a computer, which is connected to a fingerprint reader. There's a monitor where you can see if it has recognised your fingerprint.
Thing is. There is a small delay between the computer recognising the fingerprint and the turnstill actually unlocking.
So they stuck a sign there 1/2
