@atomicpoet the fact that you need to make this statement, makes me sad. Just goes to show how many tooters are moving across here after being hounded by runts (the "r" is pronounced "k") because they feel even less safe on TeslaBird now. People suck.

Hi! I'm a cis-gendered mansplainer! I know you don't care about my worthless opinion, but I think encouraging GOP Reps and Senators (whether or not ALL their policies are in line with yours/ours) to at least defend the principles of US democracy is a good thing. I know it's ridiculous that the bar is this low, but I feel we can only build with what we HAVE. Not what we want. Let's hope more GOPers see past the identity politics

Hello Fediverse! I like #science, #politics, #sport, #gaming and #dadjokes. I support equal rights for everyone, but believe having rights means you also gotta take responsibility for what you do with them. So free speech is cool, hate speech isn't. Having faith is great, attacking the faithless isn't.
Helping people to see another point of view is awesome, but refusing to acknowledge theirs is not.
So basically: Be excellent to each other, and party on dudes. #WyldStallyns
