I don't know why it was delayed but I got my preorder of #ResidentEvilRequiem in today. I forgot I preordered the deluxe edition, but I did get the Switch 2 version.

Yesterday, I tried to pick up a game I preordered but due to a shipping and/or production issue the game wasn't in yet, so I ended up picking up two #N64 games they had for some reason. One quick-ish cleanup of the connectors inside the cartridge and they work just fine. Too bad the controller I used might be a tad wonky.

Well, the patch notes for #Splatoon3 version 11.0.0 are out. I kept expectations and hopes in check to avoid getting overhyped/disappointed, but this will be interesting to see here in two days.

I'm typically not one to comment about any other person's videos on Mastodon for several reasons, typically because I figure that my thoughts are best kept in my head. Additionally, I'm not one to post links to other people's videos (and that one won't change). However, upon watching a video titled "The PokéWalker Experience" I did a two-minute dig for mine.

I never did use it... and sadly it might sit in a case continuously unused. From what I saw in the video... well, I regret never using it but at the same time I doubt that I could have used it to its max potential at the time.

Yesterday, I tried to continue my quest to rebuild my older game collection between former SNES and lost DS games. It didn't work, but I picked up this instead.

So, from what I'm seeing with the #sonicracingCrossWorlds Legend Competition I've noticed a few things. 1, you have to go into it solo. 2, for Round 1 (as of this post) they're just like standard races as if only Legend-tier players can join in - nothing special, honestly. The only reward you're getting are up to 7 titles - Bronze/Silver/Gold/Diamond/Emerald Racer, & Top 10/100 (for the highest 10 or 100 players) are all them. 3, you have to earn points to get them. You start at 1500 in Bronze, with 1550 needed for the Silver ranking with the title, 1650 for Gold, 1750 (if I recall) for Diamond, & I don't know for Emerald as I don't think I'm getting that far. 4, you can lose points & go down into the previous rank, but you still keep the title that you demonstrated that you can earn.

The points are all over the place, much like in normal races. I swear, in the Gold rankings I once got +0 points for scoring fifth place in a race, then some time later I got +3 after a sixth place finish.
