@kevinrns @phosphan the brine can cause marine dead spots when returned. Diffusing it properly does help with this though, but inly if the technology is not used at ridiculous scales, as it has been in the Persian Gulf. As long as the technology is only used as needed and is not abused then this is a good system. It could be a lifesaver for remote atoll or barrier island communities as the freshwater lenses they've traditionally relied on are destroyed by more frequent and intense storm washovers.
