From an ice storm in last month. No power for 2 days, but lots of interesting sights (while it was light out, at least).
Transverse-banded flower fly (Eristalis transversa)
Bag lunch: Cribellate orb weaver, probably Uloborus plumipes. They wrap their prey in silk, cover it in digestive enzymes, and then ingest the liquified body.
