Debian is so great. Just upgraded my NAS box from bullseye through bookworm to trixie.
I set aside the afternoon but it only took an hour, including carefully reading the upgrade instructions in the release notes. The upgrade process for both releases worked exactly as documented with minimal downtime (just the time needed to reboot). And I did it all over SSH.
The boring reliability, and lack of surprises is why I love Debian. Thank you Debian developers!
Stephen Darlington#Parkrun number 200 completed! Went to Wimbledon Common today. Still love it up there; I don’t go often enough. Beautiful blue sky. Was feeling quite accomplished with my 200, but there were more people with 500 shirts than I’ve seen at any other event. Anyway, not a competition…
