He's almost certainly not as funny as he thinks he is. Remain. Cricket. Tea + the odd beer. Running with Bollington Harriers. Singing and dancing. Linux/AWS in the UK/AU/ZA for SKA Observatory https://skao.int/.
Just found this photograph of a little boy and his mummy having a picnic - time to write a poem
The thing I enjoy about really terrible people on the Fediverse is that they pop up with their bile and hate, then are just immediately swatted away by literally everyone, into silence and obscurity. Walled off from all of the many lovelies. Hurrah! F those Bs. X

#introduction music and joke maker. Very average at both but looking to improve.

I love my bass and I love my cat. Don't mess with either.

Hoping to become part of the Fedi-community as I am disillusioned with the reality of corporate media and big tech.

@ToshInMacc Lot of conversations with people I used to play cricket with. With occasionally remembering there is a match happening. Ace day so far 🥳
How're you enjoying the #Test @ianRobinson ? Jealous. 😁 #cricket
Thank you, #ZFS, for pool autoexpansion.

AI can be used to do some nice things. When I was 8, my parents bought a new house and had someone local paint my room to look like a desert during sunset. I lived here until I was 19 or so, and so you could call it my childhood home. It's long gone now, and the room has been painted over, so I'll never see it in person again. And this is really the only decent photo that I have of it given that smartphones weren't really a thing until a few years later. But this is actually what my bedroom looked like for most of my life as a kid.

I used Gemini to extract the mural and turn it into a wallpaper that I can use on my laptop and my phone. It isn't perfect, but it's good enough. And it means a lot to be able to see it like this again.

Huge apologies , but I am having to postpone tomorrow’s gig in #newcastle at the wonderful @standnewcastle - I promise to get new date sorted soon

Really happy with #debian stable and unattended-upgrades these days #security #linux

Edit: and let's not forget the  maintainers of course!
