I do internet stuff for a living. I like my video games and doing crafts to relax.

💬 Pronouns are She/Them.

@MarzGurl I get your point but it still feels more like a forum to me.

But regarding the hellsite... Deep capitalism is stopping it from being a friendly place. Greed brings attempts to keep everything and everyone centralized. Greed keeps the code hidden and greed will stop meaningful attempts of moderation, as monsters are huge potential customers.

Twitter ending up in the hands of a deluded billionaire is a fitting end for it.

@MarzGurl I don't think it is... it's very different. But I'm liking it more than Twitter. It feels...

Positive? Fun? Jovial? I like it. Looking into getting into another instance than this one right now.

Well, one of the chairs got a missing leg -_- The broken part isn't in the box. It's popsicle stick sculpting and painting time.

@erbmaster

Beautiful! I love it!

Not gonna lie... this looks absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE the wings. I think my favourite is the black one.

If you are a #monsterlover then you are at the right place

I've been reading this explanation, it's enlightening. I guess I'll just wait until I see an instance that resonates the best with me and then move to it.

A futuristic Mastodon introduction for 2021:

Focusing on things that come up frequently and I don’t see explained that often. Here’s the lede: You can’t ever see or search everythin...

elilla & friends’ very occasional blog thing
@DigiAshe right I have been trying to understand that, I think it just leaves a "This user has moved to ---" or something toot, I mostly just meant the part where I can't carry my stuff with me... but what I'm trying to understand is the advantages of moving to another instance 🤔

I think my main confusion on #mastodon thus far is the instances principle. I'm wondering let's say, if I move to another instance... What it will change in the long run besides losing my posts on this instance?

Does it really matter?
