Putting together last-minute things for my first trip to New York. Nervous, but still looking forward to attending Anime NYC.
If Bluesky is not going to take user safety seriously and will punish the targets of abuse rather than the abusers, then I'm going to seriously consider slowly transitioning my microblogging back to either Spoutible or Mastodon.

To this day I still get people leaving comments on my garbage old Land Before Time video reviews on YouTube from like 14 years ago or however old each individual one is and it makes me feel weird every time.
Well, back to using Spoutible specifically because it can natively crosspost to both Bluesky and Mastodon.
Similarly, now my Bluesky account can talk to Mastodon, but it just made a whole new Mastodon account to do it. So, yeah, this won't be perfect until I can actually connect my main accounts together.

Too much to do tomorrow. Not sure how I'm gonna get it all done.
Testing out stuff with Bridgy, which can now make my Mastadon account communicate with Bluesky. But what it actually seems to have done is just made a whole new Bluesky account for me, so what I'd prefer in the future is a way to tangibly directly connect my main Mastadon account with my main Bluesky account. I imagine that'll take a little more time to figure out.
