Teaching people to recognize & dismantle antisemitism through sharing examples. I'm a Christian clergy member, so any correctives are directed to Christians.
This isn't a place to debate theology. Build, don’t fight.
I'm still learning about the history and breadth of antisemitism. If I err, point it out while recognizing I'm trying to do a good deed.
I conceal identities in examples, except if it’s an organized group or by a prominent public figure.

This exchange took place on X.
A little bit of context: both individuals are somewhat public figures, but not by much. The first individual (i.e. Blue) used “you” in his first tweet to address the general population.

This attached image is a post that was originally shared on Instagram. It highlights the #antisemitism that can be found on the left and that has truly been thrown around since the recent war began.
It is okay to disagree with and be angered by policies of governments, but never should the terrorization and murder of civilians be cheered or downplayed or whitewashed. That is basic morality.
When we lose sight of that, we dehumanize others and we begin the path of justifying monstrous acts.
"Let's hope you learned from your mistake" is a threat, plain and simple. Of course Trump would deny that.
Rather than issuing a simple Rosh Hashanah greeting or just keeping his mouth shut, Trump instead uses the holiday to again reveal his only thought about Judaism: how much the Jews supposedly are indebted to him, yet they fail to be loyal.
Truly sickening.
(Disclosure: I'm not on Truth Social, so this screenshot that someone shared is all I have of the post.)
[e.g. 3] The guy who posted this *definitely* wants people to engage the post. Don’t… his goal is to grow an audience, and every click helps. He is inciting and using provocation.
He entered a Jewish space and began proselytizing about Jesus while recording himself. Another individual with more patience than me escorted him out; the video ends with text that claims the videographer was then assaulted.

[e.g. 1] A video appeared this week of “Goyim Defense League” members harassing Jews. They made the video themselves, and they know what they’re doing (i.e. applicable laws, staying on public space, using bullhorns to be heard).
They are in Florida, but likely want others to take up their tactics of harassing Jews as they exit shuls/community centers/etc. They avoid being the ones who cross the legal line, but they definitely are itching for a fight.

A lot has been said in recent days that relates to a rise in antisemitism on the Left. Let’s dig into it.

This was shared by a Christian pastor with a decent size of online followers. I commend him for making this statement. Let’s cover the statement and background material, then get to the problem.
When I ask Christians whether they have heard the word Pharisee used pejoratively, there are two clear camps: some answer “Yes, plenty of times” and others are baffled by the question. My takeaway is that some camps within American Christianity use it frequently, and others don’t at all.
