Practice, please, finesse—
Don’t edit with the hatchet,
And make a bloody mess.

For though the deadline’s looming,
Though you’re almost out of time,
When you stitch it back together,
You don’t want a Frankenstein—

Creature of a story,
Half alive, but mostly dead,
So bury now the hatchet,
The scalpel use instead.
