This is another image from a productive morning down at the local reed marsh. I just love the subtlety of the diffused morning sun giving the mossy branches a nice glow.
The branches are being backlit, but the frosty reeds and grasses are still in shade.

I have to run to the store for more dry food, and I’ve discovered my normally sweet cat could work as a brute for a loan shark.
“WHERE IS IT?” (Knocks items off shelf) “YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST HIDE IT ON ME?” (Meows loudly while getting into cupboards and draws) (More items are knocked off shelf) “WOMAN!”
It’s a little disturbing.
(Please note we have wet food and I fed him an hour ago).
